Geometry, cônes and observation

In this session of geometry, the students had a sheet with 3 cones drawn in different places.

 

The students observed the cones from 4 different angles.

They work as a team to associate the right angle with the right drawing.

 

They finally had to explain to the class how they figured out the solution using the vocabulary of  direction and space:  to the right, to the left, in front of or behind.

En géométrie : dans cette séance, les élèves ont observé des objets : les trois cônes, de quatre points de vue différents. Ils devaient ensuite travailler en groupes et associer le bon dessin avec le bon point de vue. Ils devaient enfin expliquer à la classe comment ils avaient fait pour trouver la solution, en utilisant le vocabulaire de localisation : à droite, à gauche, devant, derrière.
