The CE2 and CM1's latest science project focused on the moon and its phases. In December, the class started a moon journal where they tracked the shape of the moon and the time and dates they observed it. After the students came back from break, they compared notes: why was the moon different shapes at different times?
Through experimentations with lamps and ping pong balls, they discovered how it all works. The students made a little video to explain this phenomenon.
