Suzuki Concert Part 2: Guitar and Violin
This week at EFDM we had our Suzuki Concert Part 2 which included guitar and violin. This was a very special concert because not only did we have our young students perform in front of an audience, but we also had some very special duets: siblings (Rosie and Beatrice), a parent and son (Dad and Laird), as well as our school Director and Head of School (Victorien Rami and Willy Lebihan). We couldn't be prouder of our young (and older) musicians!

Bouncing Eggs in English Class?
What in the world is going on in English Class? Last week, students followed directions to make a 'bouncing egg'. This experiment kicked off their 'How-To' unit where students will make their very own 'How-to' book.
Do you know how to make a bouncing egg? If not, ask one of our CE1 students!

Winter Performance
Congratulations to our entire school community for their Winter Performance on December 3rd. This celebration of music, dance, and classroom performances was impressive and also a testament to our mission of students being immersed in French. To see our students perform in front of a large audience but also 'en français' is extraordinary. Bravo!
We would like to thank our talented and creative faculty for their efforts. Also, a heartfelt thank you to parents for supporting our school's mission and giving the gift of a second language to your children.

Greek Mythology Wax Museum
On Friday, our 4th grade students hosted an English Language Arts Greek Mythology Wax Museum. All classes attended the museum, as well as parents, family and friends. At the museum, Zeus, Athena, Poseidon, and Hades came to life and shared their story with our community. Kelly couldn't be prouder of her greek gods and goddesses that performed that day. Bravo!
