Part II: CPR Training and Re-certification

This week our staff completed part 2 of the American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid Training.  8 of our staff members are fully certified to treat infants, children, and adults!  Bravo!

Painting on Glass

You may have noticed the snow inspired paintings on our windows and doors... This week our Early Childhood students had a terrific time painting on glass in art class.  What a treat this was!

Harris Burdick Creative Writing Project

This week in English Language Arts class, our 3rd and 4th grade students shared their creative writing pieces by flashlight.  This collaborative story telling project was inspired by the images of Harris Burdick.

Rwandan Dance and Music Performance

Last week we enjoyed a performance by the Rwandan music and dance group Ikirenga cy'Intore.  Huge thank you to the Handy family for sponsoring this wonderful event for our community.

CPR Training & Re-certification

This week, EFDM staff began a two part certification workshop that focuses on CPR and First Aid.  After the final workshop, staff will be American Red Cross certified.

Suzuki Concert Part 2: Guitar and Violin

This week at EFDM we had our Suzuki Concert Part 2 which included guitar and violin.  This was a very special concert because not only did we have our young students perform in front of an audience, but we also had some very special duets: siblings (Rosie and Beatrice), a parent and son (Dad and Laird), as well as our school Director and Head of School (Victorien Rami and Willy Lebihan). We couldn't be prouder of our young (and older) musicians!
